Normal temptation

Today is a day i have really thought of something so many of us assume, if not ignore,yet it affects us daily as human beings.
I was just innocently seated in A Nissan reading the parents magazine i had carried.One girl entered the Nissan and sat in front with me. I never cared to know but the conductor asked for money and loh, when she turned to pay,her chest interacted with mine for those few seconds and all over my body,flaming sparks started flying at a faster rate!
I turned quickly and looked at her but she was not aware of the effects of her womanhood on me.I had to seat straight and look ahead as though nothing has happened to me but all the same,i was feeling funny
This made me think of so many moments many believers have found themselves in, either knowingly, or unknowingly....Yes,the bible says we should run away from sexual sins, but to many of us, we would rather stroll away, if not stand to resist it, but when we fall, we realize how frail we're and unable to stand against its lure.
This days,all over town you will see young girls and boys,if not mature men and women hanging in each others arms, if not kissing passionately in the name of love.When i think about such, i wonder if I'm the only one who is abnormal in this world, because such a thing can easily disable my mind and give all the rights to the body. This made me decide never to be in secluded places with any woman,if not lonely places and pathways. Actually,i never invite women to my house and i don't visit a lady i have feeling for in her house when a lone.This has always worked for me
My point is,when we get saved,our feelings don't die.Actually the body never gets saved.That's why Paul said i die daily!That means putting our bodies under our control is a daily dying! If you ask many saved men and women who backslide or fell into sex sin,the reason is always simple,they ignored the obvious,and thought they're mature enough to handle it,only to find themselves on the floors gulping for strength,while looking for someone else to help them wake up
In another post,i made it clear about how powerful the sexual drive is . In-fact,It is so strong that it can alter a person's thinking and emotions. It has the power to harden the heart and move us to irrational and sinful decisions.
God has created sex for the marriage bed and for there alone. He wants you to be pure in mind and body, reserving the sexual union for the proper context of marriage so that you might properly honor God and your spouse..It's never advisable to any single to hang around,hang in someone's arms or even think he is above the lure of sex. Nowadays you can be exited for sex anywhere and everywhere but if you're in charge of you,always look for a way of escape,if nor run as fast as possible,for your safety and peace. Sometimes it's wise to be mute on some people for your safety!It's not a sin to do that,if you know talking to them makes you turn on your sexual gear!
To all my single friends,my prayer is that ,"God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.1 Thessalonians 5:23.

Say NO to sex before marriage

I believe it is immoral to have sex before marriage. However, this is not just a matter of religion. God didn’t just randomly make some things sins. There’s a logic to them.

Having sex before marriage is only going to cloud the relationship with passion and prevent you from really getting to know the person. What happens when the “in love” phase fades away? What will the relationship be based on?

Get to really know the person without physical stuff clouding your judgment. Then when you get married you can fully give yourself to the other and know you are really loved for who you are. That’s why the stats show that people who wait divorce less.

Plus, having sex with people before marriage is in a way being unfaithful to your spouse even if you haven’t met them yet. Wouldn’t you feel more loved if your husband or wife waited just for you and then gave him/herself completely to you and no one else? This is why I follow morality. It makes sense and truly makes you free.

Your Discouragers are Those Near You

In this life,you will never miss to find discouragers.This are people who look for every opportunity to surp your energy in doing God's work,and many times,they always look for ways of making you feel how unworthy you are,on a certain work,ministry and calling that God has placed in your life.Amazingly,this group of people are never foreigners.They emanate from the friends,family and relatives who know,or have known your weakness at some point,or who you really have sat,shared and encouraged one another some time back.
When the ministry of Jesus had taken root among his people,it was met with resistance,regardless of the wonderful results of the same.His band of discouragers were a group of people who come from his hometown. They were amazed,not that they liked him, but they wondered “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?”“Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?” And they took offense at him.
But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home.[Mathew 13:55-57]
When Nehemia was involved in the work of rebuilding the temple of God, he also had the same group of people talking down his work.Sanballat was very angry when he learned that they were rebuilding the wall. He flew into a rage and mocked the Jews, saying in front of his friends and the Samarian army officers, “What does this bunch of poor, feeble Jews think they’re doing? Do they think they can build the wall in a single day by just offering a few sacrifices? Do they actually think they can make something of stones from a rubbish heap—and charred ones at that? ”He continued, that stone wall would collapse if even a fox walked along the top of it!”[Nehemia 4:1-3]
Saint of God, what work are you involved in for the Lord and who are your major discouragers? Don't loose heart and give in to the pressure of the devil. Be like Nehemiah. When he heard that, he prayed, “Hear us, our God, for we are being mocked. May their scoffing fall back on their own heads, and may they themselves become captives in a foreign land! Do not ignore their guilt. Do not blot out their sins, for they have provoked you to anger here in front of the builders.”[Nehemia 4:1-3].
In every moment of discouragement, cry to the Lord and continue with the work. Nehemiah finished the wall, Jesus finished his ministry and the devil and his angels that surrounded them gave up. May God help us all. Amen

Have Patience and wait upon God

We all get discouraged in our walk of faith.If you have been a believer for long,you must have gotten discouraged not once but sometimes many times.That's the reality of life,and if you have been waiting on God for something that takes ages to come,it's very easy to feel discouraged.
One of the psalm i like so much is psalm 73.This psalm has such a person.Asaph must have reached the peak of discouragement when he wrote this.He wondered why unbelievers get blessed and him,with his righteous stand,God seems to overlook his prayers and supplication to him.He says "Surely God is good to Israel,to those who are pure in heart.But as for me, my feet had almost slipped;I had nearly lost my foothold.He would have backslide].psalm 73:1-2]
As Asaph was going through this discouraging moment,with an urge to backslide ,he narrates what he saw among unbelievers.He continues... I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.they have no struggles;their bodies are healthy and strong.They are free from common human burdens;they are not plagued by human ills.Therefore pride is their necklace;they clothe themselves with violence.From their callous hearts comes iniquity ;their evil imaginations have no limits.They scoff, and speak with malice;with arrogance they threaten oppression.Their mouths lay claim to heaven,and their tongues take possession of the earth.Therefore their people turn to them and drink up waters in abundance.They say, “How would God know?Does the Most High know anything?”This is what the wicked are like—always free of care, they go on amassing wealth.[psalm 73:3-12]
As he continued to envy the unbelieving world,he says to himself" Surely in vain I have kept my heart pure and have washed my hands in innocence.All day long I have been afflicted,and every morning brings new punishments.If I had spoken out like that,I would have betrayed your children.[psalm 73:12-16]
He later says"When I tried to understand all this,it troubled me deeply. till I entered the sanctuary of God;then I understood their final destiny.Surely you place them on slippery ground;you cast them down to ruin.How suddenly are they destroyed,completely swept away by terrors!They are like a dream when one awakes;when you arise, Lord,you will despise them as fantasies..[psalm 73:16-20]. What a breakthrough for asaph.
Saint of God,which unbeliever have you been envying lately? It's when Asaph went to the temple,that his focus changed,and we should not shun church when we are low,because that is when God speaks to us.He later concludes with a cry to God,but now with a different focus.He says When my heart was grieved and my spirit embittered,I was senseless and ignorant;I was a brute beast before you.Yet I am always with you;you hold me by my right hand.You guide me with your counsel,and afterward you will take me into glory.[psalm 73:20-24].
In every form of discouragement,attend church,listen to God and you will see how God uses our circumstances to show us what lies ahead of us.What we wait from him is much more than the treasures of this world combined.Stay in God and keep the focus. God bless you

Gentle Pointers That Highlight Death Of a Relationship

1. THE LINE IS DEAD
 ●When a person is excited about you, they want to communicate with you as often as possible. They will call, tweet, text, facebook; whatever it takes, just to hear from you and to commune with you.
● When the line from the other end seems dead, something is wrong. Scrutinize your communication. Are you the constant initiator? Do they ever bother? Is your excitement one sided? Value yourself.
You also deserve to be longingly anticipated.
2. THE MISSING FOLLOW UP
●When a person asks you out and goes out with you, they will usually communicate and let you know what a good time they had. If they don't follow up the date with any communication, maybe they didn't enjoy it as much as you did.
●If you are still waiting after a week, two weeks, a month, several months and they don't say anything, they are probably not going to communicate. If you are the only one being superfluous with gratitude about the date, the excitement is lopsided. It seems the pleasure was all yours!
●Ladies, a man who is excited about you will not stay silent for days, weeks and months on end after a date.
He may be a gentleman and may be playing polite but the truth is, he's just not that interested.
●Don't keep checking why he hasn't called you back. Don't nag somebody for feedback. Move on. You will find someone who loves you the way you desire to be loved. Remember, you were not created to be tolerated. Let dignity guard you! Dignity is the awareness that you also deserve honor!
3. THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST
●One undeniable result of passion is pursuit. When you are passionate about something, you create time for it and you prioritize it.
●When a person no longer prioritizes your dates, postpones them for flimsy reasons or seems relieved when something else comes up, they are telling you something.
●When your requests to meet are met with excuses, excuses, excuses like; "I had to work late, I need to do something, my mum sent me to shaggs, I had homework", they are avoiding you.
● A person in love with you cannot get enough of being with you. When you are relegated to the bottom of the priority list the relationship is dying. When you are being endured, it is a bad sign. Don't insist, read the signs.

●Many people who have wasted time waiting for someone, simply ignored the obvious signs that were presented before them.
●If he/she constantly comes late for dates, because they'd rather be doing something else more interesting, it's a burning bush signal to you.

If they don't show up for dates and never say a word, the bush is now shouting while running round in circles. Someone is definitely missing the screaming signs.
4. THE THIRD PARTY
●Relationships are for two, but as I read on a flier recently, some people don't know how to count. When there's a third person competing for your loved one, and he/she is allowing it, it's time for a relationship review.
●When your boy/girl friend seems so taken and in awe of another person, it is a red flag. When they would rather do anything for that person but you seem to have to beg, write a petition and a thesis justifying what you are asking for, you are no longer their number one.
●You have become a contingency plan and an option.. You were "now showing" but you have been overtaken. Watch out, "coming soon" is round the corner.
●Also, when your loved one is completely unmoved if someone else is interested in you, they are over you. Even God is jealous for His own. When someone doesn't seem to care whether or not a third party has their sights on you, they have removed themselves from that equation.
● It doesn't matter any more to them, whether you go or stay. When he/she would rather be with their buddies rather than you, the relationship is dead.
5. THE CLANDESTINE POSITION
●When a person is sure that they want to spend the rest of their life with you, they introduce you to their close friends and family. They will want you to meet the people that matter to them. Beware of the person who hides you.
Beware of the person who wants to walk with you at night.Who will not be seen with you in public.
Whose family has never heard of you and who keeps downplaying the "meet and greet".
●It is a strong indication that you are not that important to them.
●If you were dating and then suddenly you are the only one introducing them as your boy/girlfriend, something is wrong.
If they introduce you as their neighbor, friend or prayer partner and seem not to call you girl/boyfriend anymore, they are over you.
●Just to clarify something here; Never assume that you are dating someone.
It doesn't matter how many dates you have gone for, you have to agree when you are "officially" boyfriend and girl/friend.
If this has happened but the person now struggles to introduce you as such; they are either embarrassed about you or not convinced in their heart about you.
6. THE SLOW IT DOWN PLEA
●Passion can be impatient. When a person is excited about something, they want it now! It doesn't ever seem to happen fast enough. That is why, when the person you are dating begins to talk in terms of slowing things down, they are sending a message. They are easing you off. They want to gently back off from you.
● I'm not talking about a genuine request to figure out whether or not they are ready. I'm talking about someone who just wants more "SPACE" away from you. Don't ask and make it more awkward by asking " Can I call you after space period is over"? Get the message.
●Honorable people are straight forward and honest in a polite and loving way. Unfortunately, not everyone is honorable in relationships. It's a sad thing when you find yourself with someone who doesn't have the backbone to tell you that they don't think the relationship is going anywhere. Someone who strings you along and keeps you frustrated and wondering.
●What is worse, is allowing yourself to be stringed along.
●What is sad is ignoring the signs and insisting that all is well. Do yourself a favor, dis-mount! That horse is long gone.
●Don't get bitter and vindictive. Clarify their position, release them and trust God NEVER to end up in such a situation again. I often say "fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me".
●By God's grace and wisdom, you will find the right and the best person for you.Don't delay the entrance of that person into your life by holding on to the wrong time wasting relationships.
●If you are the person who knows that you are no longer interested, stop stringing someone along. Man up. Be honest and gracious and let them know. Don't waste anybody's time. It is not merciful. It is actually very cruel. I decree that you have wisdom.You will marry well in Jesus name.amen

Learn To Appreciate

we should learn to appreciate and show gratitude to our loved ones,parents,relatives,and those we mingle together . It will come to a day ,where you wish that they still be around,but it will be just a desire in vain. If we learn to show concern to those who are concern and responsible with us,one will live a regret-free life.
Neve take anything for granted because God is the ONLY one who determines our lives.
Guys you may see me today hoping to enjoy my presence tomorrow,but who knows thst i will appear tomorrow.
Am saying this,full of life-worries that threaten continuity of survival,for instance, if our dearest,loved,concerned and responsible ones are taken from us to the land of everlasting silent, then we too tend to struggle and even to a greater extend desire to immediately follow them .
Friends, its painful when real world face you with its fearful,threatening long fingers of death,especially after a temporary cover is unveiled /removed. Therefore,we should always learn to appreciate who in one way or the other showed concern in your life.
Situations a times brings internal conflicts as to either leave the word and go to the everlasting silent or live and have hope and struggle. These leads to a situation where one need to self analyse and also give room to make either better and good or worse decisions.
As I conclude my advice to you is to lean on Jesus Christ.He is the author and perfector of our salvation.
